in vitro fertilization by espanacani in vitro fertilization by espanacani
Done with Edgard Varese playing on the background..
As always practising minimalism in fractal art...
Trying to visualize in vitro fertilization with a sense of beauty driven by fractal creation.

The suggester writes: espanacani said he was trying to visualize in vitro fertilization with a fractalic sense of beauty... I think he succeeded, don't you? ~ My answer: Yes, I do! The concept is brought to life with a terrific use of space here. It represents well... the singular, purposeful journey to the egg. And the aura surrounding the egg, gives us a powerful sense of attracting life energy. Well done! ( Suggested by FarDareisMai and Featured by Sophquest )

Beautiful piece, I'm not really sure how to put my thoughts about it into words, but I love the little solar eclipse design on the left and the those strands almost look like music coming out from the eclipse.

I generally license my fractals with CC by-nc-nd.

You can freely print a copy of it with an inkjet printer on a photo paper. The download of it is in hi resolution and a .png so it should be in good shape.

i really like the isolation used on this, there is still a great sense of balance and the subtle use of lines directing the eye to the left, making it the focal point. in all, it is a beautiful piece :)

This is creepy and unsettling to me - the whole image gives the feeling of something alien and darkly futuristic invading the barriers of the most primitive and sacred realm in a woman's body.

This elicited a very strong emotional response in me, therefore I just HAD to :+fav:

wow..
i am impressed by your dense emotional response.. I really have aimed to make it an image that has an irritating side in it, focusing upon the creepy needle stage, injection of the sperm or so.. I can't really explain why it is so. Maybe its because just before the baby, before the great emotional intoxication, there may be a stage that is unnaturally clean, needleish, petri dishes, countless failures.. I really can't know how it feels to have an egg, and how this makes one feel, but when I look I see an era that people won't have the chance to sexually reproduce, because none could afford the energy loss, living in a rusty spaceship leaving the Earth that thay have ruined long ago.

Thanks a lot for your deep response. It really means a thing and is informative.

You're welcome, and I agree with you and definitely believe you achieved your goals with this piece. I feel all the above, mixed with defensiveness (self-protection) and an air of sad, quiet resignation (if that makes sense). Great piece!
